ORIGINS COLLECTION

Origins, inspired and made with textiles from the Mexican indigenous communities, becomes the official name of the Gregorio Sánchez collections that are designed taking as inspiration Mexican textiles from different regions of the country, with the firm idea of ​​spreading and sharing the wonderful artisan work from Mexico abroad. In this capsule collection, he takes as inspiration the textiles of the state of Chiapas from the Zinacantan region, embroidered fabrics and woven on a backstrap loom technique, with which plank skirts were made, in conjunction with silk balloon sleeves and oversized collar blouses.

One of the objectives of this collection is to make known the great Mexican textile heritage made by the artisans of the country, giving them added value to their wonderful work incorporating their legacy in the designs and thus contributing to social responsibility with ethnic groups
